Set up Macquarie Authenticator

The Macquarie Authenticator app is available for Apple iOS and Android devices and is free to download from your app store - just search for Macquarie Authenticator, or follow these links:
 

Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the on-screen prompts to link your Macquarie ID.

When you first log in to Macquarie Business Online (MBO), you’ll be presented with your unique QR code.

Follow the steps to download and register Macquarie Authenticator:

1. Open the camera on your phone or tablet device and hold it over the QR code on your screen.
2. Click to open Macquarie Authenticator in Google Play or the App Store.
3. Install the Macquarie Authenticator app.
4. Open the app and allow 'Authenticator' to send you notifications (if prompted).
5. Select and confirm a six-digit PIN.
6. To add your Macquarie ID, select Add with Macquarie QR code.
7. Select Scan Macquarie QR code.
8. Allow Macquarie Authenticator access to your camera on your device.
9. Hold your device over the QR code on your screen.
10. Read and confirm the Important Information.
11. To verify it’s you click Next.
12. Enter the six-digit safe code sent via SMS.
13. Click Done.

To protect your accounts, you won’t be able to proceed to MBO until you’ve successfully downloaded and registered the Macquarie Authenticator App.

For security purposes you’ll be prompted to verify yourself through a push notification in the Macquarie Authenticator app when approving payments or tasks in Macquarie Business Online.

Once you receive the Macquarie Authenticator prompt, you can:

• Deny the payment or task.
